National student competition for Starting a small business

On March 13, 2017 in the Academy of Economics "Dimitar A. Tsenov" - Svishtov was held the 21st National Student Competition in the areas: "Accounting", "Innovative solutions in trade" and "Starting a small business" ".

More than 170 students from three schools in Vratsa, four schools from Svishtov and one school each from General Toshevo, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Gulyantsi, Dryanovo, Dolni Dabnik, Pirdop, Plovdiv, Popovo, Ruse, Silistra, Sliven took part in the competition. Stara Zagora and Shumen.

From the school where I study - Sofia University "Vazrazhdane" - Ruse we took part 11 students who competed in the field "Starting a small business". These were: me, Denitsa Radkova, Joanna Puhleva, Ivona Topalova, Marieta Vasileva, Militsa Dimitrova, Yanis Zhelev, Claudia Dimitrova, Rositsa Pavlova, Esin Sally, as well as Radostin Atanasov.

It was the most contested area of ​​Starting a Small Business, with the most students competing. We were divided into 12 teams, and in each team there were 4-5 participants. Emphasis was placed on students' original thinking and creative abilities to discover new "fields" for business and formulate possible ways to maintain a successful business.

Each participant in the competition received a certificate of participation, and the better participants received diplomas accompanied by various prizes. Our school was successful:

- Yanis Zhelev for second place in the direction;

- Claudia Dimitrova for third place;

- as well as Radostin Atanasov also for the best presentation.

I congratulate all participants for their good performance and wish them success in their further development!
