On May 23, 2017 in the "Europe" hall of the Revenue Building in the city of Rousse, a ceremony was held for awarding diplomas and awarding the excellent students from the schools in the Municipality of Rousse on the occasion of May 24 - the Day of Bulgarian Education and culture and Slavic writing.
The event was attended by MP Andrian Raykov, Mayor of Ruse Plamen Stoilov, Deputy Mayor Ivan Grigorov, Director of Culture and Education Irena Petrova, Head of Ruse - Ruse Dimitar Raynov, school principals, teachers, parents and guests.Traditionally, Mayor Plamen Stoilov congratulated the outstanding students of Ruse as a sign of gratitude for the work done for high results during the past school year:
"On the eve of a holiday that fills us with pride and unites us - May 24, I congratulate the excellent - ambitious children who combine sports, diverse interests and ambition for success. Set high goals to prosper our beautiful city and our beautiful country. "
The mayor expressed gratitude for the dedication of their principals, teachers and parents and wished everyone health and success. By decision of the Pedagogical Council, each year the schools offer one student who has worthily represented and contributed to raising the prestige of the school in which he studies and deserves to be among the best and most prominent students in the city of Ruse. These are students who have achieved high results in the field of education, culture, art, science and sports - municipal and regional stages of National Olympiads, competitions, state championships in various sports, school games and others. For the good mood of the audience, Gabi Valcheva and Mira Puykova from ObDTSK led by Natalia Konstantinova performed the songs "For you, teacher" and "Let me sing".
